ODS Plus specializes in working with small business and nonprofit corporations and our desire is to be a part of the community in which we live. ODS Plus operates primarily in California. Our employees support local organizations and we have participated in the ALS Walk to Defeat ALS, the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Fund Raiser, and the Arthritis Foundation Fund Raiser.

We support the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program of El Dorado and Sacramento Counties. We encourage you to support them also. The American Society for Training and Development states that companies that are growing and profitable spend at least 2% of their budget on employee training and development. If you are a nonprofit then you probably depend on volunteers to help with operational tasks. Money and time spent on developing your staff and volunteers provides a tremendous Return On Investment (ROI).

Our commitment to our clients includes providing them with cost effective, timely consulting and training that will help them improve organizational performance. Our staff works with clients to develop intervention and training strategies that improve the bottom line. We pride ourselves on developing a quick understanding of our client's problems and designing interventions and training that is customized to our client's needs. The biggest expenditure for any company is its personnel services - costs vary from 80 to 90% of the total budget. Thus, an incremental improvement in efficiency returns a large improvement in efficiency and reduced operating costs.

The goal of ODS Plus is to provide consulting services and training to clients to help them increase their profitability, performance and market share. We do this by diagnosing the gap between actual and desired performance of employees, reviewing operational procedures and providing information and training to eliminate the gap between desired and current performance.  We use the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model for evaluating the effectiveness of any training we provide.

There are many ways to do this and we normally use a combination of methods to identify the causes such as: Sensing Iinterviews, Direct Observation and Front End Analysis to determine what type of intervention is needed. All of our training is designed to ensure a maximum "Return on Investment" (ROI). We use Kirkpatrick's model for evaluation.
